Plastic plight: Sabah gets Norwegian help
Horrific plastic pollution in Gaya Island – the first target for the latest technologies for solution.
Kota Kinabalu: Home grown Blu Hope Sabah received “timely support” from high-tech Norwegian company called VOW for its “serious push” to make Sabah the first “plastic neutral” state, along with Timor Leste, said Blu Hope founder Simon Christopher in conjunction with World Ocean Day.

Blu Hope and VOW signed a Memorandum of Understanding on May 19 in a “key milestone” initiative “to bring in the latest technologies to manage, dispose and implement solutions to plastic pollution in and around the capital to solve the problem,” said Blu Hope Founder, Simon Christopher.
