Laptop move will encourage students to learn: PIGB

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah College Parent Teacher Association (PIBG) welcomed the State Government’s move to provide 10,000 laptops to SPM and STPM students via the Bantuan Ihsan Komputer (Baik) programme.

Its head, Datuk Fatimah Sarah Ahmad Noor said the initiative, would increase students’ motivation to learn, especially those from the B40 group.

“I hope the State Government will continue this laptop aid so that it can improve the quality of education, especially among students from B40 families in Sabah,” she said in a statement, Wednesday.
