Two Sabahans are made envoys

Kuala Lumpur: Two Sabahans have been appointed ambassadors to Croatia and Hungary. They are Kennedy Mayong, 48, from Tuaran and Francisco Munis, 50 from Papar, respectively.Both were among 19 new Heads of Mission of Malaysia that received their Letters of Credence from Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Tuesday. Public Service in 1997 and was Under-Secretary of the Multilateral Security Division, Wisma Putra. He had served in Phnom Penh, Helsinki, Hanoi and New York. Francisco joined the Malaysian Public Service in 1998 and was Deputy Chief of Protocol, Wisma Putra.  Previously he was posted to Mexico City, Guangzhou and Moscow.
