Kinarut surau cluster sees spike in new cases, 248 in Sabah: Masidi

Kota Kinabalu: A Kinarut surau-linked Covid-19 cluster saw a spike in new cases today, said Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
"New cases in Sabah rose today as more test results from existing clusters are known. Kg Gusi community cluster (Kinarut, Papar) which originated from surau activities registered 44 of Papar’s 49 cases.

"17 cases involving offshore workers are among KK’s 60. Sabah [has] 248," Masidi announced on Twitter.
Kg Gusi is currently under a two-week enhanced movement control order to curb the disease.
