TAWAU: Sri Tanjung Assemblyman Justin Wong (pic) urged the people who are going for Covid-19 vaccination to check the syringe before inoculation.

He said this is to ensure the syringe is filled with the prescribed quantity of vaccine. “The recipient must immediately report to the relevant authority and request for a replacement if they found the syringe to be empty or half filled,” he said.

“All recipients have the right to check the vaccine syringe before inoculation and they should immediately lodge a complaint if the vaccinator or medical officer stops them from doing so,” he said.

The vaccinator or medical officer must also show and clarify the vaccine syringe prior to administering vaccine to a recipient, he added.
