LABUAN: The Labuan Women’s Affairs Association said the government should subsidise the additional freight charges imposed on containers of consumer goods of ships from Port Kelang which a shipping company has decided to apply as “over-carry” surcharge amounting to RM3,000 per container due to apparent confusion on SOP by the Federal Territories Ministry.
“This is a matter of grave concern especially now that its impact will be on cost of living and consumers will suffer if forced to absorb this charge passed down to them,” said its chief Fauziah datuk Din
