Lockdowns to blame for higher food prices
The crowd has not fully gone back to throng Muslim Indian restaurants paying high rent for choice locations.
Kota Kinabalu: Food price hikes since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented to curb the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the B40 and M40 groups.

The price increase erodes their ringgit purchasing power for local food products, disregarding the expensive unaffordable imported packaged branded products and fruits.
