Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Women’s Action-Resource Group (Sawo) is catalysing a multi-party cum NGO campaign to try and reform Malaysia’s patriarchal centric leadership to be more sensitive to women’s issues.This drive under its GAP (Gender and Politics) Programme is an initiative that has brought 31 women leaders in politics, community organizations and women’s rights groups to work together to push for more focus and attention on gender issues in the political arena.
