TAWAU: Tawau Chinese Chamber of Commerce Chia Seong Fatt wants all business operators, especially those who are just about to start their business, to adhere with the labour laws and regulations to avoid being compounded by the Labour Department.

Chia said there are many labour laws to protect the employees. He said this after paying a courtesy call on the Tawau Labour Department after receiving complaints from business companies who were compounded for failure to register their business information with the Ministry of Human Resources.
