TAWAU: A woman died just three days after giving birth to a daughter via caesarean at the Tawau Hospital.It is understood that the 31-year-old returned home after the delivery, but her husband found her unconscious on Tuesday morning.

He man rushed his wife to the Tawau Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The woman was diagnosed free of Covid-19 and her daughter is also reported healthy.
Tawau Hospital Director Dr Norlimah Arsad when contacted declined comment as they need to have a meeting in the event of death involving such circumstances.
On the number of babies born on Aug 31, the hospital recorded 10 as of 3pm, namely seven boys and three girls. All 10 babies are healthy.
Meanwhile, Tawau District Police Chief, ACP Peter Umbuas said they have not received report from any party so far and neither have they received any reports of possible negligence in the matter.
