Soka Gakkai blood drive

Kota Kinabalu: Persatuan Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) Sabah Branch, in collaboration with Hospital Queen Elizabeth II (QEH2) will hold two blood donation events on two consecutive Sundays (Sept 12 and 19) from 9am to 3pm at the SGM Sabah Culture Centre located on Jalan Tuaran By-pass.

This blood donation drive, held at QEh2’s request IS to help alleviate the chronic shortage of the Blood Bank. It  will be the ninth such event co-organised by SGM Sabah since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and the imposition of the MCO a year ago.

SGM hope that kind-hearted and generous members of the public as well as SGM members will enthusiastically support the campaign.

SGM is a Buddhism-based NGO affiliated with Soka Gakkai International (SGI), whose main focus and mission is promoting world peace through education and culture. Among other activities, SGM Sabah has been organising the biannual “Run For Peace” since 2013.
