INANAM: TCT Trading Group Sdn Bhd and Morefun has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to merge traditional and e-commerce together for the convenience of customers.The collaboration to bridge the digital gap was signed between TCT Group, General Manager Kelvin Chin and Morefun, Chief Executive Officer Oscar Yong at One Stop Superstore Premium Outlet at Suria Inanam here.

Speaking on the MoU, Chin said during this ongoing Covid-19 pandemic which affected the entire economy, they need to emphasis on strengthening business.
“One of the best ways is to work together with a partner to promote growth. Today we are collaborating with a partner to expand our business development to better serve the customers,” he said.

Customers can now place their orders over the phone by downloading the One Stop apps and Morefun will do the delivery service, he said.
Customers need to top up RM10 to register as members through the apps to enjoy a five per cent discount for all the goods and earn redemption points, he said.

TCT Group Director Dato’ Tan Kar Leong said they are targeting 70 per cent of their business on the low to middle-income groups which has always been their market since day one.
“The pandemic has given us an opportunity to expand the business because now we can take advantage of the shops low rental rate and easy to get workers as many people has been laid off from their previous jobs.

“This is also a good time to expand the outlets as we are planning to open another 16 stores within half a year in the peninsula.
“We have signed the agreement with Tesco Stores which has now changed its name to Lotuss Stores to secure the rental of premises,” he said, in total, One Stop has 92 outlets nationwide.
