RM1.2m rice smuggled from Sabah seized

Tawi Tawi: A total of RM1.2 million (Php15,000,000) worth of smuggled rice reportedly from Sabah, Malaysia were confiscated in Tawi-Tawi Province.

Initial investigation showed the contraband items were onboard M/V Eshan Khan when personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard and Bureau of Customs (BOC) intercepted a wooden vessel in the waters of Tawi-Tawi.
