Croc which roams Papar road after flood in viral clip may have been captured

PAPAR: Residence and authorities joined hands to catch a crocodile believed captured in a viral clip near Kampung Nagapas, here, Monday.

The 3m-long crocodile was caught in the video last Wednesday night crawling on a road near the village after a flood.

District Police Chief DSP Batholomew Ak Umpit confirmed the capture of the crocodile by villagers and Civil Defence Force members.

He said the reptile was caught at about 7pm after a motorist spotted it by the roadside and notified the authorities.
