Body found in Labuan mangrove

LABUAN: A body believed to be of a man was found by members of the public in the mangrove swamp area of SK33, Kg Sungai Keling, at 2.30pm on Monday.Labuan Police Chief Supt Ahmad Jawila said police went to the scene following the tip off and found the body floating in a decomposed state.

“So far, police have classified the case as a Sudden Death Case until the autopsy report is obtained. The body is at the Labuan Hospital Forensic Unit.
“Police have so far not received any reports of the disappearance of any person or family member and call on the public who have information to immediately inform the nearest police station,” he said.
