Kota Kinabalu: DAP’s Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin said the Pan Borneo Highway project is delayed due to tender mismanagement, incompetent contractors as well as leakages, and not due to the termination of the Project Delivery Partner (PDP) without first securing sukuk or bonds as claimed by Works Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.
“The termination of the PDP model has little or nothing to do with the delay of the Pan Borneo Highway construction in Sabah. The lack of additional financing via bond issuances is completely unrelated to the termination of the PDP.
