Kota Kinabalu: A stronger regulation should be put in place to end the use of political donations as a way to “justify graft in quod quo pro between the private sector and political leaders”, said Transparency International Malaysia (TI-Malaysia).
TI-Malaysia President Dr Muhammad Mohan said regulating political donations and expenditures are key requirements for stabilising politics and restoring public trust in the country’s democratic process.
