RANAU: Drug addiction, especially methamphetamine (syabu), in the district had become the root of criminal acts.Ranau District Police Chief, DSP Simiun bin Lomudin, said drug abuse had resulted in problems that undermined the socio-economy, disturbed public order, general safety and community development.
