TAWAU: The Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) will expand the Voluntary Patrol Scheme (SRS) platform in all coastal settlements in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (Esszone) in stages to combat crime, including cross-border ones.

Its Commander, DCP Datuk Ahmad Fuad Othman said they saw the effectiveness of SRS that was implemented in three villages in the district - Kg Batu Payong, Kg Tinagat and Kg Membelua - when it recorded good success, including the recent seizure of 303.115kg of Syabu.
