KENINGAU: The tagal system is a smart partnership between the local community and the Government (Sabah Fisheries Department) to protect, conserve and manage river fishery resources in the State, said Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.He said the implementation of the system would create cooperation among the community and with the Department towards ensuring river fishery resources in Sabah are successfully protected, conserved and harvested in a sustainable manner.
