Today's number was 48 fewer cases than yesterday, said the update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.

Kota Kinabalu registered 81 new cases, 19 fewer than yesterday, but remained as the top contributor to the daily caseload.
Districts in the so-called "group of four" - Tuaran, Kota Belud and Ranau - all registered higher daily cases, although they were small increases.
