KOTA KINABALU: The public has been advised not to panic when a siren sound is heard in the City, this Wednesday.
Sabah Civil Defence Force (APM) Director Colonel Sharudin Md Zain, in a statement, Monday, said they will conduct a test run of a public warning siren that has been installed on a strategic building here.

“The siren has been maintained and will be tested on Wednesday (Dec 1) in two test phases, namely the daytime phase from 11am-12pm, and the night phase from 10pm-11pm.
“The test run will be performed by activating two sound tones in each phase which will be operated for two minutes per sound tone.”
The test aims to see the coverage of distance and sound from the siren’s location.
