Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor said there is no need for the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) to hold a special sitting to debate on the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) for now.

This is because amendments to the Federal Constitution relating to MA63 are currently being tabled in Parliament, while efforts are also ongoing in the Special Council on the MA63 (MKMA63) to get Sabah’s rights as enshrined in the MA63 reinstated.
