Tuaran: Two men sustained slight injuries when their vehicles, a four-wheel-drive and a lorry, collided along Jalan Lawamandau–Kiulu near the Telipok Television Transmitter Station, here, at the weekend (pic).The accident, involved a 26-year-old driving an Isuzu D-max, and a 51-year-old in three-tonne lorry.

Tuaran Fire and Rescue Station Chief Abdul Qawe Abdul Gapar said nine firefighters rushed to the scene following a distress call at 4.05pm.
The victims were assisted out of their vehicles and given early medical assistance before being sent to the Tuaran Hospital. The operation ended at 5pm. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
