PAPAR: A family trip to Papar turned tragic when a mother and her one-year-old baby boy died on the spot in an accident at KM40, Jalan Kimanis – Keningau, here, Wednesday.
District Police Chief DSP Batholomew Ak Umpit said the incident happened at about 6.30pm when the family of five were on their way from Keningau to Papar in a Naza Citra (pictured).

He said the driver, who was the father in his 40s, lost control of the vehicle when they were on a winding downhill road that led them to crash towards the left side before rolling over a few times.
