M-cyclist hurt in Keningau collision

KENINGAU: A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a Proton Iswara vehicle along KM3 of Jalan Patikang-Keningau last Saturday.District Police Chief, Deputy Superintendent Nor Rafidah Kasim, said the accident, believed to have occurred at 9pm, left the motorcyclist unconscious after he was thrown off his motorcycle following impact.

She said the police received information from the public at 10.59pm about the incident and the investigation at the scene found that a Proton Iswara driven by a man was heading towards Kampung Bakiau from Kampung Patikang Ulu.
Nor Rafidah added that the Proton Iswara slipped into a ditch. The motorcyclist who passed out was taken to Keningau hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
The case is being investigated under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
