PBS wants documents of Sabah MIC chief probed

Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Sabah called on the relevant authorities to carry out a background check on Sabah MIC chief Peer Mohamad Kadir, who is alleged to have obtained his documentation illegally.

It is the first time that an accusation of dubious citizenship has been made against the leader of a political party. MIC is a Barisan Nasional coalition member.
