KENINGAU: Keningau emerged as the overall champions at the Keningau district level Taekwan-Do Association (GTF) Championship held at the Keningau District Council hall here on Sunday.
They finished top by collecting 31 gold, 43 silver and 21 bronze medals with Taekwan-Do Unik Club in second place (25 golds, 15 silvers and 18 bronzes) while Beaufort (24 golds, 19 silvers and 23 bronzes) were third.

A total of 285 athletes representing their respective clubs and districts comprising Keningau, Kota Belud, Putatan, Membakut, Beaufort, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, Rhino’s Fighter Club, Taekwan-Do Unik Club and ITF Taekwan-Do participated in the tournament which was officiated by the Assistant Minister of Works and Bingkor State Assemblyman Datuk Robert Tawik.
