Express's Double Six series clinch national investigative journalism award

Kuala Lumpur: Daily Express continued to shine on the national stage by winning the coveted Investigative Journalism award at the Malaysian Press Institute's National Press Awards.
A 21-part series by Chief Editor James Sarda and Senior Reporter Sherell Jeffrey covering almost every aspect of the Double Six tragedy which claimed the lives of 11 people, including newly-elected Chief Minister Tun Fuad Stephens and four Ministers on June 6, 1976, was decided by the panel of judges to be most worthy of the award.
