LABUAN: Malaysian Malay Chamber of commerce (DPMM) Labuan President Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman expressed concern over the failed RM75 million Labuan duty-free premium belt and urged the Labuan Corperation to be more responsible in approving projects.
“LC should make strong background checks of the developer as well as a proper feasibility study on the violability of government-related project. This is to avoid Labuan’s list of failed project getting longer, said Suhaili, a two term member of Parliament here and who served as chairman of Labuan Coorperation.
