Don't block branches' activities, Bung tells Umno leaders

Kota Kinabalu: Umno Supreme Council Member Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin reminded party leaders at all levels not to block any branch from being active, as well as young people and professionals from joining the party.
He said there were several cases involving several divisions which blocked their branches from holding delegate meetings and organising activities because they were not on good terms with the division leadership.

"This matter has happened in several divisions because the branch leaders did not support the division leadership, resulting in branches being sidelined and unable to hold branch meetings and being blocked. This is simply because the division leaders want to strengthen their position," he said when officiating the Malacca State Umno Retreat programme at Hilton Hotel, here, Monday night.
