Baby girl found abandoned at Tambunan road

TAMBUNAN: A baby girl was found by members of the public abandoned along the road at Kampung Kirokot, here, around 1am, Saturday.
District Police Chief Deputy Superintendent Nor Rafidah Kasim said, the police received a report about the discovery at 2.38am, on the same day.

"The man who lodged the report said he found the baby wrapped in a white cloth with a floral pattern while he is on his way home," she said.
The man then took the baby to the Tambunan Hospital for examination and further treatment.
"The baby is in a stable condition and is still receiving treatment at the hospital," he said.
