Kuala Lumpur: Gamuda Land expands its international markets and launched their first United Kingdom and second Australia properties namely West Hampstead Central and The Canopy at Four Seasons Hotel, Kuala Lumpur today.

As per Gamuda Land’s five initial overseas project plan, these two development projects would be the stepping stones of the Malaysia’s leading development company despite the challenges including Covid-19 outbreak and Russia - Ukraine war.

West Hampstead Central which is developed in both English heritage and contemporary design, located in between many London top attractions and neighbourhoods, easily accessible to shops, cafes, gyms, galleries, train station as well as beautiful green spaces.

This project has earned the green building certification known as Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM).

The Canopy on Normanby located approximately 1.2km from Melbourne Central Business District intensed to enable sustainable community.

The projects mainly featured green spaces for healthy living as the apartment’s design is more towards a green scenery applied in balconies, rooftops, and gardens.

The Canopy is truly special by its project features such as daylight modelling and benefits as in prioritising high levels of natural light. Gamuda Land continues to deliver a friendly environment by transforming a closed section of neighbouring Johnson Street into an open green space for the community.

The developer strives to add an average of five new international projects per annum from 2023 onwards.

“Expanding internationally is consistent with Gamuda Land’s five year business plan. It is part of our strategy to achieve RM8 billion annual sales in the next five years.

So, we will be diversifying our markets where we have already established a strong presence.

These mature markets such as Australia and the United Kingdom present a host of opportunities for us to apply and showcase our mindful planning and sustainability expertise,” said Gamuda Land Chief Executive Officer Ngan Chee Meng.
