Tenom: A total of 200 residents in Kampung Rayoh were disconnected after a landslide hit the railway line in four places from Rayoh station to Tenom Town Tuesday.
According to a former chief of Kampung Rayoh, Sitong Kainsor, the railway was also flooded due to the heavy rain which from 3pm on Monday until 6am on Tuesday.

Sitong said it also made it difficult for residents to go out to Tenom town to buy their daily necessities.
"It is the hope of the villagers who live near the railway track area that the government can act to resolve the matter," he said.
