Young voters say not immature
Young voters who enthusiastically voted at the Voting District Centre (PDM), National Secondary School (SMK) Tun Fuad Stephens Kiulu, Tuaran.
Tuaran: Youngsters in Kiulu who voted for the first time in the 15th General Election (GE15) reject the views that they were immature and only followed the party of their family’s choice, instead of standing firm on their own opinions or choices.

Aivie Lestyka Paulinus, 22, from Kampung Tompinahaton, said growing up in a rural area did not mean that she was not sensitive to current issues, including corruption, politics, economy and so on, because the related information was at her fingertips.

“With the use of technology and access to the Internet, people of all ages can fast access and determine authentic information.
