Construction started in May 2019 with the hotel opening its doors on Oct 20, 2022. The debut of Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu marks the milestone of Hap Seng’s inaugural hotel, with three more Hyatt properties slated to open in the next few years in Malaysia. The hotel is located in the heart of the city’s lively dining and entertainment district, providing convenience for adventurous explorers and local residents to discover authentic experiences and hidden gems in the coastal capital of Malaysia’s Sabah State on the island of Borneo.
