“KTYS continues to excel in this regard,” he said, in conjunction with the ongoing Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Convocation.
Putri Nur Izzatul Ajwa Binti Basri, a Computer Science Diploma (Information Technology) graduate who took the KTYS - UTM collaboration programme proved Sabahans were equally capable when she was selected to receive the Dean’s Award.
The farmer’s daughter from Kota Belud studied for three years at KTYS.
Samin hoped Putri’s exemplary success would motivate other Sabah students.
