LABUAN: Tourism Malaysia, Sabah (TM, Sabah) vowed to make Labuan island one of the preferred destinations in near future not only for the locals but also for international tourists, said its Deputy Director Tracey Tojuka (pic).

Hosting 13 media fraternities from West Malaysia and Sabah for site inspection, she hoped that they were able to experience substantial tourist destinations during their four-day excursion around the island.

It is always our hope that Labuan could become one of the favourite island destinations in Malaysia due to its serene and picturesque sceneries whereby we might not able to find the same excitement existing in other parts of Malaysia, she said.
