KUANTAN: A man and his wife had a harrowing experience when a clouded leopard entered their house in Kampung Sentang Pagar Sasak, Kuala Lipis, yesterday.
Lipis district police chief Azli Noor said the police received a report at about 6.30pm.

He said the 55-year-old man was in the house with his 58-year-old wife, a stroke patient, who was lying on a bed, when the leopard entered the house through the front door while chasing a cat.
“The man attempted to chase away the leopard, but the animal jumped onto the bed and scratched his wife’s brow,” Azli said in a statement.
He said the woman had a cut on the brow and was treated by health personnel from the Padang Tengku government clinic.
The leopard then went under the couple’s house and was surrounded by villagers awaiting the arrival of personnel from the wildlife and national parks department (Perhilitan). They arrived at 8pm and took the animal away.
