Sabah records 266 new cases
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 caseload decreased to 210 on Saturday from 266 the day earlier while one death was recorded in Kuala Penyu.

Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the dip was attributed due to a much lower number of test samples, despite the positivity rate increasing from 14.61 per cent to 15.7 per cent.

Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 45 cases, followed by Papar (31), Kota Belud (22), Lahad Datu (20), Penampang (18), Tuaran (18), Tawau (15) and Kota Marudu (10).

“Eleven districts did not record any new infections,” he said, Saturday.

He said 208 out of 210 cases were category one and two infections while one case each was recorded in category three and four.
