Kota Kinabalu: The Tabs Bandaraya Under-12 team will be taking part in two tournaments in the national capital this coming weeks. Deputy chairman Lokman Sunggim said on Wednesday that they will first compete in the two-day National Football Development Programme (NFDP) Grand-final starting this Saturday (December 3) followed by the Suparimau League on December 10-11.

“Our boys qualified for these two competitions as a result of their success in winning the state-level Samora Cup and Suparimau League 2022 recently.

“This will be a very good opportunity for the players to gain exposure through the tournaments against teams from the Peninsular,” he said.

He also expressed his appreciation to the Sabah Football Association (Safa) and Sabah FC for their contribution and support to the team.

Meanwhile, he also said they may send their Under-14 and Under-16 teams to take part in the Suparimau League competition but it is yet to be finalised.
