SKA sending 16-member squad

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Karate Association (SKA) are sending a 16-member squad for the 41st National Senior Karate Championship 2023.The two-day competition starting today (Saturday) is being held at the Melaka Historic City Council basketball hall in Bukit Serindit.

SKA secretary general Julian Chin said they are not setting any target for the athletes but hoped they will give their very best to kick start the new season.
The team are represented by Clevelence Carlos (male individual kata), Eldrich Aaron Anthony Jubili (male individual kata), Stanley Dulian (male kumite -55 kg), Arthur Adrian Angkangon (male kumite -60 kg), Mohamad Iqmal Jafar (male kumite -67 kg), Rayner Subinon (male kumite +84 kg), Muhammad Rafiuddin Faiz Razmi (male kumite +84 kg), Ivy Olivera Donny (female individual kata), Lovelly Anne Robberth (female individual kata), Naccy Nelly Evvaferra Rojin (female team kata), Niathalia Sherwinnie Anak Yampil (female team kata), Christy Angelyn Railey (female kumite -50 kg), Michell Michelin Linus (kumite -61 kg), Leong Jia Chii (female kumite -61 kg), Prisca Easter Philip (female kumite -68 kg) and Amirah Yahirah Azlan (female kumite -68 kg).
The team managers are Frederick Kiamut and Godfrey Anthony E Sipanul with Danny Fredoline, Mui Ling Tiwon and Andy Alexious M Angkangon as coaches.
