LABUAN: The egg shortage troubling consumers here now is even more acute than during the Perikatan Nasional (PH) rule despite the new Unity Government having approved the import of millions of eggs from India.
Most of the egg shelves on the island are empty as limited stocks that arrived weekly are quickly snapped up, leaving many others facing difficulty in getting eggs.

The owner of a 24-hour mini market, Datuk Ramasamy Rengasmay, said:
