“A poem by Nurazilah sums up the reasons for disputes and fights that are becoming more frequent among people who are greedy for wealth and position to the point of ignoring noble values,” said the College Head of Research and Innovation Dr Sirhajwan Idek, here.
He said the author warned that such an attitude could cause people to forget their responsibility in ensuring universal peace.
Sirhajwan said, Nurazilah who is an art lover and activist, had won several prestigious awards including the Simon Greenall Award in 2021 and the ELTons Innovation Awards in 2022 through the “Dau Dau” art project she founded with some of her fellow teachers.
“She has also won first place in the excellent secondary school curriculum teacher award organised by the State Education Department in 2022 and 2021,” he said.

The College Director Christine Stanislaus Kinsik was proud of Nurazilah’s achievement because it could encourage teachers to be more active in the production of writing and art works that could help them become more creative.
