TAWAU: A 33-year-old local woman was charged at the Magistrate’s Court, here, Monday with the murder of her ex-husband.
Nurima Juli was charged with killing Nurman Bakaratu, 62, in an oil palm estate, Jalan Anjur Juara, Jalan Apas, Batu 5, here, between 7.30pm and 9pm, on Jan 13.
She allegedly committed the crime along with several individuals still at large.

The charge is framed under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which read with Section 34 of the same Code, provides for the death penalty if convicted.
No plea was recorded from the accused after the charge was read to her before Magistrate Dzul Elmi Yunus.

Previously, it was reported that a body of an unidentified man was found beside an e-hailing car in an oil palm estate.
Following that, several arrests were made, including eight police officers.
