TAWAU: The Kukusan Constituency Office has set up a taskforce to curb the spread dengue, following increase of cases in the district lately.

Kukusan Assemblywoman Rina Jainal said the committee, dubbed “Kukusan Dengue Prevention Taskforce” involved government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and local residents around Kukusan.

She said among Government agencies involved are the Health Ministry (Tawau District Health Office), the Tawau Municipal Council, Unity Department and the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM).
