Kota Kinabalu: Taman Indah Permai, in Manggatal, has the dubious honour of being the Number One dengue “hotspot” in the country, according to the Kota Kinabalu District Health Office (KKDHO).
KKDHO Epidemiologist and Public Health Physician Dr Pathman Arumugam said 85 residents there have been treated for dengue the past four and a half months, the most recent on Jan. 21.

The outbreak in the housing area began on Sept. 23 last year.
