50 areas in Sabah have had drainage cleaned

Kota Kinabalu: A total of 50 areas throughout Sabah have had their drainage systems cleaned.State Public Works Minister Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya said the recent flash floods here and in Penampang were due to relatively high rainfall and other factors such as blocked drains.
“It also stems from non-collaborative planning or construction, causing the flow of drainage to become complicated.
