Man jailed for breaking into house

Awangku had trespassed into the house belonging to Abu Bakar @ Amit Talip for the purpose to steal at 5.30pm on Oct 27, 2022 at Kg Kayai, Membakut.
Kota Kinabalu: A man was jailed three years for breaking into a house and stealing.Sessions Court Judge Azreena Aziz handed the sentence to Awangku Sukry Pg Mahmud who pleaded guilty.

Awangku had trespassed into the house belonging to Abu Bakar @ Amit Talip for the purpose to steal at 5.30pm on Oct 27, 2022 at Kg Kayai, Membakut.
He committed the offence under Section 457/34 of the Penal Code, together with two other accused Mudim Sakin and Haliba Bathca who were discharged and acquitted.
The court ordered Awangku to serve the jail sentence from the date of his arrest. The court heard that Awangku had trespassed into the house to steal several items.
The facts of the case stated that Awangku wanted to sell the stolen items to Mudim and Haliba but was arrested immediately.
