Kota Kinabalu: Slashing the development allowance for MPs from RM3.8 million to RM1.3 million is not a good start in bridging the development gap between Sabah, Sarawak and the peninsula, said Kota Belud MP Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis.

Isnaraissah said taking into account the much larger size of parliamentary constituencies in Sabah and Sarawak coupled with the problem of poverty, the existing allowance should be maintained or increased.
